Wallets and keys

Each account can hold several terminal wallets. You can create new ones or import an existing private key. These are the wallets you trade with.

How your keys are protected

Managing wallets

Go to Portfolio › Wallets to create, import, rename, export or remove wallets. Mark one with ★ as your main wallet: referral rewards are sent to it when you claim.

To move ETH between your own wallets, drag one wallet to From and another to To, enter the amount and confirm.

One-time delegation (EIP-7702)

The first time a terminal wallet trades on a launchpad that uses its own contracts (for example a bonding curve), that same first trade also delegates the wallet to the GiwaDelegateV2 contract. This is what lets the trade and the fee go out as one transaction. It happens once per wallet, costs a little extra gas that first time, and only the wallet itself can use it. Details on Fees and Risks.

Wallets delegated to the previous version (GiwaDelegate) are moved to GiwaDelegateV2 automatically inside their next launchpad trade: same single transaction, a little more gas that one time. You don't need to do anything.

Export a private key

Exporting asks you to confirm with your login wallet (a free signature) or your PIN. Anyone with a private key fully controls that wallet: never share it and never paste it into a site you don't trust.

Removing a wallet

Removing a wallet deletes it from your account. If it still holds funds, export its key first. Once removed, we have no way to bring it back. Referral rewards are not affected: they belong to your account, not to a wallet.

Browser wallets

MetaMask, Phantom, Rabby, OKX Wallet and other browser wallets are used only to log in. They can't be used to trade on Zephyr Trade: trades are always signed by your terminal wallets, so nothing pops up while you trade.
